According to Visser, ‘it’s not too bad’ during the day. It remains mainly dry and the sun appears occasionally. Rain will fall again later in the afternoon, with showers this evening.
Strong gusts of wind
The temperature is around 14 degrees all day long. The wind is turning south this afternoon, the wind is moderate above land and strong on the coast. Tonight around 6 p.m. the wind in our region will change from west to northwest and the wind will blow strongly over land. A stormy wind then blows on the coast and on the IJsselmeer.
Wind gusts of around 80 kilometers per hour are predicted above land, and according to the weatherman this could ‘increase slightly’. On the coast this increases to wind gusts between 100 and 120 kilometers per hour. This stormy weather will continue this evening and part of the night.
No storm, but wet
Tomorrow morning the day will start with rain, but later the sun will gradually appear here and there. It will be about 12 to 13 degrees. In the afternoon Visser expects a mix of showers and sun.
The wind blows from the west to southwest. On the coast it is wind force 7 and on Texel it will still be stormy tomorrow. But: slowly but surely the weather is becoming less turbulent.
This weekend it will be especially wet: according to the weatherman, there will be a lot of showers. It will be about 11 degrees on Saturday and Sunday. The weatherman also expects the same weather picture for the beginning of next week. Anyone who is tired of all that wetness can indulge themselves. After this it will become drier again and temperatures will also rise.
