A car rammed the facade of the town hall in Hoogeveen last night. The car then caught fire. That happened around 2.40 a.m.
The fire brigade managed to extinguish the fire, the police then started an investigation. A 42-year-old man from Elim was arrested in the vicinity of Raadhuisplein. He is suspected of arson and destruction.
