At a pet store in Klazienaveen, Chaos was created this morning, after a car almost drove in. In a parking lot on the Langestraat in the village, a motorist lost control of his vehicle.

The accelerator pedal was probably pressed by accident, because the car shot forward from the parking space, over a sidewalk, straight to the pet store. A rabbit cage was standing against the facade, which was completely pressed together by the car. As far as we know, there were no rabbits in the loft.

Because there were special posts against Ramrraaken for the store, worse was prevented and the car did not enter the shop front. The driver was taken care of in the store after the accident and examined on site by ambulance personnel. He didn’t have to go to the hospital.

The damage to the rabbit cage, the shop window and the car is considerable.
