On vacation with a big pill: ‘Erasmus on your lap’
That bag always went on vacation every year. I still see him in front of me: a brown, leather bag. Slightly worn out on the edges. Maybe fifteen books fit in. If we used to go on holiday as a family, this bag could not be missing. E-books were not nearly there yet, the bookbag was compact but very heavy.
