Jannik Sinner is the defending champion and is looking for a consecutive hat trick. The last to do so is Novak Djokovic, from 2019 to 2021. No seeding, as explained, but there could be a very tricky debut against two of his great friends, Berrettini or Hurkacz. From the third round, Jannik could face all seeds from 25th to 32nd, so on paper one of Tien, Norrie, Nakashima, Fonseca, Tiafoe, Vacherot, Tsitsipas and Moutet. In the event of a round of 16, Jannik could face one of Rublev, Khachanov, Davidovich Fokina or Mensik (seeded 13th to 16th). In the quarterfinals then watch out for clashes with seeds between 5 and 8, therefore possible opponents Musetti, Alex de Minaur, Auger-Aliassime or Shelton. In the semi-final, as mentioned, always theoretically, one between Zverev and Djokovic. In the final, then, there is room for the great challenge with Alcaraz.
