Erin Patterson, a 50-year-old woman from the Australian state of Victoria, was found guilty of the murder of three family members by a jury and the attempted murder of a fourth. She had invited them in July 2023 for lunch at her home, where she consciously served a dish that was prepared with extremely toxic mushrooms.
