The Prime Minister from Australia, Scott Morrison, justified this Friday the Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic’s visa cancellation and remembering the “sacrifices” made by their compatriots during the pandemic.
PM Scott Morrison took pains to mention “sacrifices” Aussies made during pandemic.
That sentiment was always going to be a huge hurdle for Djokovic to overcome in winning over hearts, minds…and visas.

“Australians have made many sacrifices during this pandemic, and they rightly hope that the result of those sacrifices will be protected,” said morrison in a statement, stressing that “strong border protection policies have kept Australians safe, before covid and currently during the pandemic.”
The comments of morrison come shortly after his Immigration Minister, alex hawke, made use of the special powers granted by the Australian Immigration Law, to cancel the visa of the number one racket in the world for health and order maintenance reasons in order to defend public interests.
