Austin Butler gives an emotional thank you to Elvis Presley’s family

The best in the film industry were awarded in London at the Bafta Film Awards gala.

Britannina’s Bafta gala once again honored the year’s best filmmakers. The spectacular gala was organized in London’s Royal Festival Hall on Sunday evening.

The best filmmakers of 2022 were awarded at the gala during Pukulosto’s holiday, and the prize for best actor went to American actor Austin Butler, 31.

Butler, who played the lead role in a fictional biopic about Elvis Presley, took the stage in a daze from his tribute. Before going on stage, he tightly hugs Baz Luhrmann, who directed the film.

– I have so many people I want to thank, Butler begins.

In his speech, he lists the film’s creators and background teams, without whom, according to Butler, the award would not have been possible. The actor also thanks his own family, but finally he has a special thanks to Presley’s family.

– I can’t thank you enough for your love and for sharing with me who Elvis really was.

In the end, Butler is almost moved to tears with the trophy in his hands.

– I hope I made you proud. This means so much to me.

Other winners at the gala included, among others, Cate Blanchett, who won the best actress, and the Best Supporting Actors Kerry Condon and Barry Keoghan.
