Police investigated: unknown people attack Aue fans

The Saxons win their away game with Alemannia Aachen. After that, however, there is a terrifying incident.
After the away game of Erzgebirge Aue at Alemannia Aachen, violent assault occurred on Saturday evening. Followers of the Saxon third division team were attacked by hooded people after the 1-0 away win. Vehicles were badly damaged and several people were injured.
“Fortunately, there were no major personal injury, but cuts. Two vehicles probably have a total loss,” said Aue-press spokesman Lars Töffling. One was still in contact with the fans concerned. “Bild” and “Tag24” had previously reported on the incident. Almost two weeks ago, after a game in Cottbus, a similar attack on Aue fans had occurred.
As the Aachen police said, a minibus with eight and a car with four guest fans were attacked. A total of four people were slightly injured by glass plitters. The police temporarily arrested four suspects in the nearby area, and the investigation into other participants continues. The authorities ask for sending image and video material.
A video published on the net shows how several people dressed in black storms at a red traffic light on a car, open doors and damage the vehicle. Fan buses were also attacked. Despite the slices taken, they were able to return to the return trip. Patrick Terjung, President of BSG Wismut Aue, which provides the buses, spoke of damage in the high four -digit range.
Alemannia Aachen clearly commented on the events on Sunday. “As Alemannia Aachen, we say clearly and unequivocally: These perpetrators are not Alemannia. Anyone who attacks guests attacks our club and our values. They act against everything we stand for – respect, hospitality and fairness,” said the club. According to the club, Aue is in contact.
