An attic fire broke out in a house on Johannesburgstraat in Eindhoven around a quarter past one Thursday afternoon. It was the fire brigade’s top priority to get a woman staying in the home to safety. There would also be a dog inside.
The woman was rescued in time, after which emergency services took care of her on the street. The trauma helicopter was also called in.
By a quarter to two the fire was under control. The fire brigade deployed two fire engines, an aerial platform and a duty officer.
It is unknown whether the dog was also rescued.
