After a disruptive action, the Lotto Berlin website is no longer accessible for the time being.

Due to conspicuous access attempts on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, the company was forced to put the website offline, as press spokesman Thomas Dumke explained on Monday. Since the Christmas holidays, “conspicuous attempts” have repeatedly been identified.

According to Dumke, in addition to the Lotto Berlin website, the websites in Rhineland-Palatinate, Saxony-Anhalt and Schleswig-Holstein are also affected.

With e-mail addresses and repeated attempts at passwords, attempts were made to gain access to personal data, explained Dumke. Therefore, the page “to protect the players and their data” was taken offline.

Lotto Berlin will look for a solution as soon as possible, said the spokesman. The site should be back online by Monday evening at the latest.
