Despite being arrested for attempted murder, Experience releases debut EP “Stay Present”. Brady Ebert’s guitar parts remain – all information about the band’s statement.

After Turnstile and Brady Ebert parted ways, he joined the band Experience. However, it’s not easy for them, as their founder has had to stand trial since April 1, 2026 for the attempted murder of Brendan Yates’ father. On March 31, 2026, he drove down his former bandmate’s father, singer Brendan Yates, with a car. A statement from Turnstile said: “The violence culminated in an assault when Brady drove to Brendan’s parents’ home and struck Brendan’s father with his vehicle, causing him to suffer serious physical injuries. We are grateful that Mr. Yates survived and the successful operation and hope for the best possible course of his recovery. We have no words for Brady.”

What Experience say now

And what’s next for Brady Ebert’s new group Experience? She planned to release her debut EP in June 2026. Despite the 33-year-old’s difficult actions, Experience is sticking to exactly that. In a statement on Instagram, the band said: “We would like to address the events that have caused a stir this week. What has happened to Brady is serious and deeply disturbing. Our thoughts are with everyone affected. We do not take this matter lightly. At the same time, we have decided to continue our release as planned.”

“Every song lives in the present”

Experience continued, “Our 12-song EP ‘Stay Present’ is based on a simple idea: facing what’s in front of you without running away from it. The record is divided into four parts called ‘sentences’: Reaction is a quick, immediate impulse. Control is the moment when space arises and decisions take over. Weight is pressure carried without noise. Awareness is clarity while still in motion.”

The statement continued: “Every song lives in the present. No past, no future, just decisions made in real time. There is no villain on this record. The struggle is the distraction. The goal is awareness. We are continuing to release the project as planned in June.”

Brady Ebert’s contribution remains on the EP

The question remained open as to whether the guitarist’s contribution would also be retained in the work. An answer was found in the comments under the statement: Bobby Faithful confirmed that Brady Ebert’s contributions will be heard on the EP: “Bobby, Zach and Brady wrote the majority of the guitar riffs and were also heard on the album as guest musicians.”

He justified this by saying that the parts in question were recorded before the arrest. It currently remains unclear whether Brady Ebert will continue to be part of Experience.
