On Monday afternoon, a 34-year-old Iranian carried out an arson attack on the Iranian embassy in Berlin-Dahlem, apparently in protest.

At around 4:40 p.m., security guards in Dahlem observed a man who spilled a flammable liquid on the concrete base of the fence of the Iranian embassy on Drygalskistrasse and then set it on fire.

The police arrested the man. The flames went out on their own, but slightly damaged a sign attached to the fence. Nobody got hurt.
