A sheep in the back seat of a police car. No, not as a suspect, but as a missing person. Officers went to Liessel on Monday afternoon, because a dog and sheep walked on a road without an owner. The animals could be caught by passers-by. A taxi driver returned the dog to its owner. The officers took care of the lost sheep, which apparently behaved well.
15..34 – Polish man arrested for ‘serious crime’
A 34-year-old man from Poland was arrested in Roosendaal on Monday afternoon because he was suspected of a ‘serious crime’ in his home country. The police did not say exactly what it was about. Employees of an employment agency called the police because they did not trust his job application.
Officers investigated who the man is and then found out that he was wanted. The Public Prosecution Service will deal with his surrender to Poland.
