Former Bundesliga professional Alexander Sørloth achieved a four-pack in the 4-0 win of his club Atlético Madrid via Real Sociedad San Sebastián and set two records in the Laliga. The 29-year-old Norwegian achieved the fastest and the earliest hat trick. The Norwegian show was on everyone’s lips. “Incredible,” it said in the radio station “Cope”.
The former Leipziger scored in the Estadio Metropolitano in the 7th, 10th and in the 11th minute. He exceeded an 84 -year -old record for the earliest hat trick. Valencia player Mundo also set up the old record in 1941 against Real Sociedad within 15 minutes after the kick-off.
In addition, Sørloth-who was only allowed to go to the square from the start because of a lock by Julián Alvarez-achieved the fastest hat trick in Laliga history. He only needed three minutes and 57 seconds for his three goals, which he trumped the former Atlético professional Kévin Gameiro. The Frenchman took four minutes and 44 seconds for his three goals against Sporting Gijón in the 2016/17 season.
Sørloth for Atlético Madrid with goals on the running volume
But the striker didn’t have enough with these two records: even before the break – in the 30th minute – he also met the final score. It is noteworthy that Sørloth delivered his show against a former employer because he was loaned to Real Sociedad from 2021 to 2023.
The man from Trondheim in 2020/21 had not been able to convince at RB Leipzig. After a 20 million euro transfer, he only came to nine goal participation in 38 games, and he was awarded twice. In Madrid he mostly comes from the bank, but is already fourth in the Laliga Torjägerlist with 17 goals. In doing so, he made a decisive contribution to the fact that Atlético, as third in the table, had participation in the next Champions League. Sørloth had made a four -pack just almost a year ago at the sensational 4: 4 of FC Villarreal against Real Madrid. “El Mundo” now raised him to the “legendary pistolero that pulverizes records”.
