Athlete Nadine Visser runs World Cup limit, PR for Tony van Diepen at 800 meters

Nadine Visser has run the World Cup limit on the 100 meter hurdles in the Finnish Turku. The athlete from Hoorn ran a time of 12 seconds and 72 hundredths and finished third. With this, the hurdler is slowly getting into top form for the global final battle in Eugene (United States).

800 meters men

Tony van Diepen from Heerhugowaard has already qualified for the World Championship, but was unable to win the 800 meters for the first time in five races. He showed his form by running a fine time of 1.44.24 in Turku. With that he broke his personal best which stood at 1.44.31. The 800 meters was won by Max Burgin in a time of 1.43.52.

Visser competes at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon (United States). The World Championships will take place from July 15 to July 24.
