Atelier Gardeur brings Hendrik-Jan Muis into the management

The clothing supplier Atelier Gardeur GmbH has appointed Hendrik-Jan Muis as managing director. The Dutchman took up the post on March 1, the company announced on Monday. In his new position, the 57-year-old is now to “continue to drive forward the transformation of the traditional Mönchengladbach-based company together with managing director and shareholder Thomas Kültz”. The focus is on “increasing the operational performance and the strategic further development of the Gardeur Group,” explained the trouser specialist.

Muis came from the clothing group Bültel Fashion Group, where he most recently worked as COO. Prior to that, he held various management positions at well-known industry companies such as Escada, Gerry Weber and O’Neill over the course of his career.
