Trainer Marelle Worm does not want to cling too much to the results achieved after the first half of the season. “We have not won much, but as long as we take steps forward I am satisfied. We played many good games in the first half of the season, but rewarded ourselves too little.”

“We are still holding on to sixth place”

Telstar trainer Marelle Worm

Worm knows the cause of the few points achieved. “Many players have to get used to the level. You notice that we needed a little longer than other teams to get used to the premier league. We are slowly recovering. There are still many games to play, so we are still holding on in sixth place.”

Left row

Bruinenberg also puts his finger on the sore spot, but looks positively at the new year. “When we take the lead, we often become restless. We really have to take steps in that direction. With the last victory we are going into the winter break in a nice way. After the winter break we will pick up the thread again.”

According to the Telstar captain, the target remains unchanged. “We want to develop further, pick up points and set course for the left row.”
