At least 47 dead after plane carrying 181 people leaves runway and crashes in South Korea

A plane with 181 people on board skidded off the runway and crashed while landing at Muan International Airport in southern South Korea. The Korean news agency ‘Yonhap’ reported this today. At least 47 people have already died in the crash, but that number may rise further. Rescue operations are underway.
