Lon the evening of November 23rd the traditional event was held at the East End Studios in Milan Christmas Gala for Research IEO-MONZINO Foundationa charity dinner dedicated to donors, doctors, researchers and loyal supporters, gathered for a special evening. The event represented an opportunity to support the activities of the Foundation which has supported the work for almost 30 years of the European Institute of Oncology and the Monzino Cardiology Centera reality of excellence in Italian medicine in the world.
A sparkling and generous evening
Thanks to the brilliant management of godmother of the evening Andrea Delogu, radio-television presenter, who also animated the moments dedicated to the auction, through the lots put up for auction by the Foundation’s supporters, 380,000 euros were raised on the CharityStars digital platform. An exceptional result that will directly contribute to the research activities of the IEO and Monzino.
The gala evening then concluded with the spirited performance of singer Alexiawho with his extraordinary voice has interpreted some Christmas songs from his latest album My Xmas (just re-released only on vinyl with two unreleased songs) and his super hits Uh la la la and Tell me how making the whole audience dance.

To accompany the dinner, the sound designer Graziano Della Nebbiathe DJ created an extremely pleasant atmosphere for the whole evening.
During the evening Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, President of the IEO-MONZINO Foundation declared: «I would like to recall our main objective: to collect resources to support the fundamental research work of researchers and doctors of two excellences in our country, the the European Institute of Oncology and the Monzino Cardiology Centre. Our mission is to transform donations into new discoveries, innovative therapies and cutting-edge diagnostics, as part of a direct path from the laboratory, to the ward, to the person’s bed. A special thank you goes to the donors, who allow us on evenings like this to allocate funds exclusively and directly to support the clinical and experimental research of the two Institutes.”

Among the guests of the evening were also entertainment and fashion personalities such as Marco Bizzarri, Anna Dello Russo, Michelle HunzikerChiara Maci, Piero Piazzi, Aurora Ramazzottie Goffredo Cerza, Eva Riccobono and Matteo Ceccarini, Giulia Salemi, Pietro Terzini, Paola Turani, Giulia Valentina alongside a large representation of doctors from the IEO and Monzino.
