And so the jury had to make do with a video of an interrogation. It showed a smug howler. A failed businessman too. And a ‘collector’ of prostitutes, pole dancers and strippers. But is Beckmann also a murderer? “We have taken ‘unknown perpetrators’ into account. But as the investigation progressed, that became increasingly unlikely.”
