Asprilla: “I like Osimhen and Leao. Me, football and women…”

The Colombian in these days in Parma: “The ball to the president, the endless nights. I went to bed late, and almost never alone, I woke up very late. The championship now? Napoli will win it, I like Osimhen and Leao but. ..”

For him, returning to Italy is like entering his favorite amusement park. And every year he does it, respecting a tradition and a promise made to lifelong friends. Faustino Asprilla lands in Parma and it’s immediately a party. When he’s there and where he is, there are no timetables, there are no commitments: only happiness. It’s as if a piece of Colombia had moved here to Emilia, in the cold and frost, “but it doesn’t matter, I’ll take care of heating the environment”. And life, at least for a week, is monopolized by his presence. Eating, drinking, dancing, endless games of briscola (“you haven’t improved, I always win…”), photos, autographs, chats until dawn comes and then, only then, is it allowed to rest one’s head on the pillow and drift off to sleep. “Guys, do you remember when I killed President Pedraneschi?”.
