Asos postpones publication of annual results

British clothing retailer Asos Plc will present its results for the 2022/23 financial year a week later than planned. The company said on Tuesday that the release had been postponed until November 1st.

The “short delay” enables the appointed auditor PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to complete its investigations as planned, according to a statement. According to PwC, the remaining steps are only of “small scope”. The clothing retailer emphasized that the final results for the fiscal year ended September 3 were in line with the estimates published at the end of September.

Asos also announced that CEO José Antonio Ramos Calamonte will also report on current strategic planning as part of the upcoming results presentation. At the same time, the company wants to present medium-term forecasts.
