After a compulsory break of several years due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the textile trade fair Asia Apparel Expo is returning to Berlin in the summer. The 9th edition of the event will take place from July 5th to 7th at the exhibition center at the Funkturm, the Hong Kong-based exhibition company Comasia Limited announced on Tuesday.
According to the organizers, more than 300 textile companies from important Asian production countries such as China, Bangladesh, Pakistan and India will then present themselves to the specialist audience in two exhibition halls. Suppliers from the fields of women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, sportswear, knitwear, denim and accessories are represented.
The Asia Apparel Expo celebrated its premiere in Berlin in 2012. The last edition to date took place in February 2019, before the corona pandemic and the associated restrictions prevented further events. At that time, 331 companies from mainland China, Hong Kong and six other Asian countries presented their products to around 2,400 buyers from 52 countries.
