Art City Bologna, all the events in the city

From 27 January to 5 February, in conjunction with Arte Fiera, the streets of the capital will host Art City Bolognathe institutional program made by Lorenzo BalbiDirector of MAMbo.

I’m on the calendar as well 150 events scattered around the city, made by museums, foundations, institutional spaces public and private, Art gallery modern and contemporary and independent exhibition spaces.

But in addition to the more institutional places, Art City Bologna will discover others spacesnormally not usable for exhibition purposes – such as the station car park, for example – forgotten or little known to the public. Extending the city border beyond the centre, in an even wider territorial sphere, which ideally also embraces the metropolitan area.

The Main program of this edition is based on one special projects and in 12 main projects which make up a representative proposal of contemporary artistic practices.

When art calls, Bologna answers. And, in February, the “Scholar” seems to have no desire to bore her many visitors.
