A group of Arsenalfans of unknown size came from the United Kingdom to Lampegat (Eindhoven) to celebrate carnival. On Tuesday, their club will play against PSV in the Champions League.
A reporter from Omroep Brabant found the British in a pub in the Statumseind entertainment area. Arsenal supporters were about ten jet -delivered arsenal supporters enjoyed the folk festival there. They have confirmed stickers and medals on their clothing, which they had received from other partygoers. According to the reporter, the atmosphere is pleasant and everyone seems to like that the visitors are celebrating carnival.
The Federation of Eindhoven Carnival has invited the 1600 fans, which are expected on Tuesday, to celebrate carnival in the party tent on the Markt. To make the day extra special, all fans from London get an exclusive ‘Lampegat meets Arsenal’ badge. They can proudly wear this on their carnival outfit or competition shirt as a symbol of the connection between supporters of the two clubs.
