An arrest team arrested a man on the Lage Witsiebaan in Tilburg on Friday afternoon. He is suspected of involvement in the shooting that took place on Monday night July 14 in the parking lot on the Westermarkt in Tilburg.
That night someone called the police after he had heard shots and then saw a few boys run away. When agents arrived there, they found several bullet shells and a window of a parked car turned out to be damaged. Nobody was injured.
Research
The police did extensive investigation. Camera images have been viewed, neighborhood research has been done and several witnesses have been heard. This eventually led to the detention of Friday afternoon.
With this arrest, a bicycle and several telephones were seized. The suspect was taken to a police station and is questioned at a later time.
