Netflix has released a first trailer for the action series “Fubar” announced for May 25th. In it, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is also an executive producer in addition to his first role in a series, greets the viewers with the words: “I’m back, baby”.

FUBAR stands for “Fucked up beyond all recognition” – so run down that you are no longer recognizable. “‘Fubar’ will kick your ass and make you laugh – and not for two hours, but for a whole season,” Schwarzenegger announced the new series. “What I’ve always found amazing is how Schwarzenegger managed to be funny while still spanking people,” explained showrunner Nick Santora. “That’s why I wanted ‘Fubar’ to be a hysterical CIA spy comedy mixed with breathtaking action! And it’s become all of that and more.” Santora has also co-authored the series Prison Break and The Sopranos.

Filming has been completed since September 2022. In addition to the Terminator actor, Monica Barbaro, Fabian Udenio and Milan Carter will also be seen. The Austrian last acted in 2019 in the sixth film in the Terminator series “Dark Fate”. The first appeared in 1984.
