The Ansible Popular Library is part of the Café Artigas Cultural Cooperative. It is a Library specialized in science fiction, fantasy and terror, unique throughout the country. With 2800 volumes and more than 550 associates, it was established as a point of consultation and reading meeting of these genres in the city of Buenos Aires. In December 2024 he was recognized as Place of cultural interest by the Legislature of the CABA.
To this contributed the more than 30 activities organized since its foundation in 2020: talks about writers, presentations of books and magazines, projection of films and documentaries, stories readings, scientific dissemination activities, workshops and science fiction training. The house of science fiction, terror and fantasy in Argentina such as Martín Felipe Castagnet, Michel Nieva, Flor Canosa, Claudia Aboaf, Laura Ponce, María Eugenia Alcatena, José María Marcos, Luís Pestarini, Christian Vallini Lawson, Claudia Cortalezzi or Juan Simran.

This year they organize The Second National Science Fiction Convention (near meeting), for April 3, 4, 5 and 6. It will take place in the Artigas Café Theatrical Hall (Artigas 1850, CABA) with free and free access, which will include:
–Editorial Fair and Science Fiction cartoonists With the confirmed presence of Ayarmanot editions, Books of the Cosmonauta, Ediciones Unknown, Lyrics Sudaca Editora, Cuásar, Chirimbolito, Fourth ondish and Flavio Greco Paglia, among others.
–Talks and presentations about genderwhich will take from a review of the history of Argentine science fiction or the work of Angélica Gorodischer, to a talk about zombies in our literature through a editorial table.
–Contest of stories Karel Capek, a science fiction tales contest whose prize will consist of becoming a theatrical piece by the Artigas coffee team, to be released during the convention.
–Other activities, like the projection of scenes of Metropolis Musicalized live, the dance show Move the tongueTesting science fiction board games or drawing and live reading of a story by Quique and Eugenia Alcatena.
