Area C Milan, all the news: more expensive tickets and parking reduced to two hours

Area C more expensive and with an hourly parking limit. Here’s how the rules for entering and parking in the center of Milan change

After news for Area C and Area B introduced from 2 October, from today (30 October 2023) there will be further changes for the ZTL in the center of Milan. In fact, it will come into force on increase in the price of the Area C ticket and there will be a two-hour parking limit.

New Area C tickets

The new measures for mobility for the center of Milan after stop to private traffic in the Fashion Quadrilatero area and the introduction ofobligation to install the blind spot sensor for heavy vehicles also for circulation in Area B. Starting today, 30 October 2023, theentry into Area C will go from the current 5 euros to 7.50 euros (for residents, starting from the 41st entry, the ticket will be 3 euros). I am exempt from purchasing the daily entrance ticket only some types of vehicles: electric and hybrid cars, scooters, motorcycles, tricycles and electric quadricycles, as well as vehicles transporting disabled people (passed for minutes) and people heading to the emergency room. THE Paper tickets for entry into Area C are no longer on sale. but those in possession of them will be able to use them, without supplementing the sum, by activating them online until 29 October 2024 by calling dedicated call center to the number 02.48684001 from 7.00 to 24.00 or directly on the site MyAreaC.

News parking in Area C

The increase in the price of the Area C ticket it is not the only innovation introduced by the Municipality of Milan. In fact, it was decided that starting from November 1, 2023 in the “Circia dei Bastioni”, from 8am to 7pm every day of the week, the Paid parking is permitted for a maximum period of two consecutive hours, without the possibility of further extension. After 7pm and until midnight, the possibility of paying for parking remains unchanged, but without time limitation. However, you do not pay from midnight to 8 am the following day.

Updated price list in Area C

All vehicles pass from 5 to 7.50 euros. For residents it passes from 2 to 3 euros (starting from the 41st access/year). Service vehicles and vehicles parked in the centre’s garages participating in the initiative pass by 3 for 4.50 euros. All vehicles, with the exception of NCCs, which have paid the access ticket after midnight on the day following access and by midnight on the seventh day following the day on which access took place without tickets they pass from 15 to 22.50 euros. Vehicles used for NCC up to 8 meters pass from 40 to 60 euros. Vehicles used for NCC between 8.01 and 10.50 meters pass from 65 to 97.50 euros. Vehicles used for NCC exceeding 10.50 meters pass from 100 to 150 euros while NCC vehicles with more than 9 seats pass from 5 to 7.50 euros.
