The number of scams in the name of Nordea has increased, says the Finnish Telemarketing Association.

Finns have recently received emails claiming that they have Nordea’s online bank waiting for new documents that need digital signing.
– Physical fishing in the name of Nordea has recently increased significantly, says the Finnish Telemarketing Association in its release.
The message utilizes Nordea’s name, logo and graphic look and can be confused with the bank’s correct customer communication – especially when reading the cellphone screen. An attempt is made to entice the recipient to move through the link in the message to the phishing site.
For example, if your bank ID is mistaken to enter such a site, the scammers will be taken over and can empty the victim’s account.
Founder of the association Arto Isokoski Recall in the bulletin that these are exactly the messages that must be particularly careful with.
– If the recipient of the fishing message just waits for an important document from Nordea and open an email on a phone where the sender information is not immediately visible on the same way as a computer, then it is not difficult to make a mistake about the authenticity of the message.
