According to her ex-daughter-in-law Antine Algra, Monique Hansler had been dreaming of her own reality series à la the Meilandjes for years, but now she and her son Mike act as if they have had enough.
You can feel everything that Monique Hansler loves the fact that she is now a famous Dutch person. According to Antina Algra, the ex of her son Mike Hansler, she had been eyeing her own reality series for years. “When I was still good with Mike and came over a lot, Monique only shouted one thing every day: ‘We will be the new Meilandjes next year.’”
Second series?
Monique succeeded and her Hansler soap also scored well. It is therefore expected that SBS 6 will order a second season, but for the time being Mike and Monique are holding off.
Mike says in the latest Party: “We have not heard anything about a second season yet. We are actually happy that it is now over for a while and that the storm has subsided a bit. It is now a bit more relaxed, especially for my mother. That is why she also stayed in Austria. Just to get some rest there.”
Hard to get?
So in front of the stage, Mike and Monique pretend that it was all a bit too much for them, but it seems that they just hard to get play, thinks private boss Evert Santegoeds.
He says in the podcast Strictly Private: “I believe that Monique is holding back a bit with the idea of: then I will raise the price a bit. I think there could be a sequel, especially now that Mike and Veerle are together and that you want to see Monique’s involvement in this. They also want a child. It is wonderful to be annoyed by it.”
