Everything stays different. The last few seasons have changed the purchasing behavior, the wishes and needs of the customers and ultimately also the development of the collection. In the meantime, a lot has been learned and is taken for granted. ara Shoes has not been deterred and continues to work on the fashion direction, on exciting innovations, expands the topic of sustainability and reacts to the changes on the part of the trade and the end consumer.
In the current FW 21/22 season, ara Shoes was able to impress customers with promptly available reorder models, because overall there were not enough goods on the market. Above all, soft, flexible boots and sporty, elegant loafers were requested. Boots, because the feel-good factor has become increasingly important as a result of the pandemic period. Loafers because they give every outfit a special twist.
The collection is a bit smaller overall, but has become more concentrated and fashionable.
Totally digital
With its own digital collection, the long-established company from Langenfeld is strategically breaking new ground and thus consciously responding to the needs of online partners. Stationary trade should not be left out. On the contrary. ara Shoes would like to continue to support the local partners and is happy to make the digital collection available to them as well. This is intended to create incentives for new ordering systems and, ultimately, the fashionable model variants to be placed more intensively. Among other things, the digital collection, which is not sampled, offers the aspect of sustainability. Far fewer samples have to be produced and material can be ordered more concentrated. To begin with, there are two model lines: a high-fashion combat boot group and a shearling boot group.
Ultimate feel-good factor
Boots, boots, boots. Last winter’s bestseller deserves a sequel. The most popular colors are cognac, gray and black. Funky is the boot in metallic tones, decorated with bar sequins or in the Logomania look. The models are equipped with high-quality lambskin and invite you to wear them barefoot. If you don’t want that, you won’t lose any comfort. You can also enjoy the high-quality HighSoft equipment with stockings. The TR rubber sole has a non-slip effect in wind and weather and ensures safety with every step.
Appearance with grandeur
Loafers were also very popular last fall and winter. ara Shoes offers the Italian-inspired variant in different versions. The look can vary between sporty, elegant and casual. The models made of suede, smooth leather or patent leather are equipped with different decorative elements. Whether it’s a bridle in a horn or shiny look or a small tone-in-tone tassel. This shoe is an all-round talent: super comfortable, perfect with pantsuits or jeans and it is very trendy. The colors are also impressive: blue, chili, black, forest and beige offer a wide selection.
Definitely casual
With the Courtyard model, ara Shoes presents a deliberately casual high-top sneaker. This is available in smooth and suede versions, optionally with or without bamboo equipment. Colors such as forest, off-white and blue ensure easy combinability.
Off into the open
With the new “Hiker” model group, ara Shoes responds to the ongoing passion for exercise in the fresh air and presents an outdoor shoe with a deliberately feminine signature. Equipped with Gore-Tex to protect against wet feet and in beautiful two-tone variants such as brown/orange or blue/grey for a fashionable look, Hiker is available as a high-top and as a shoetie, a medium-high combination of shoe and bootie.
Tough soles
The sporty “Amsterdam” lace-up shoe impresses with its eye-catching moccasin seam and is an absolute eye-catcher with a wave profile sole that matches the color of the upper material. The model is made of suede in the colors blue or cognac with a lightweight EVA sole.
With platform soles that come in a wave profile, it’s not far to the fashionable summit. Golden eyelets and fur trim (synthetic) make the models a must-have for fashionistas. The equipment with HighSoft, a replaceable footbed and the wave profile for a lot of flexibility ensures high wearing comfort.
ara a round
This group underlines the sustainable claim of ara Shoes. With ara a-round, the customer receives fashionable sustainability at a very good price-performance ratio. The successful models from last season are being relaunched in trendy winter colours. These include Berry, Moon and Nuts. What is new is what is known as a shoetie: a mix of shoe and bootie.
ara4Home
The new ara4Home collection is glamorous and cuddly at the same time. You can choose between clean and playful looks. The moccasin with a feminine bow is just as much part of the party as classic slippers. The variants with glitter stripes, pearls and satin ribbons offer pure glamour. Mainly lambskin was used for inside and outside. Even the ergonomically shaped footbed is covered with lambskin and ensures immediate relaxation as soon as you slip it on.
