First there was the mysterious Instagram prologue, then the announcement of the new thing via WhatsApp to its community: Apsilon is releasing a new work in the summer. The title: “Gloss Zero”. The specific release date: July 24, 2026.
Information about the album and the single
Apsilon, whose real name is Arda Yolci, thanked his fans on WhatsApp and explained in more detail: “Thank you for the great response to the prologue, that means a lot to me. The prologue is part of our second album “Glanz Null”, which will be released this year on July 24th, 2026.”
He also reveals that there will be a preview track for the LP at the end of January. The musician from Berlin-Moabit said: “The video for the first single “Weg hier raus” will be online this Thursday at 8:00 p.m.!
Below, Apsilon announces that the record can be pre-ordered from January 28th, but WhatsApp members can order in advance and secure “a special limited vinyl”.

This is what Apsilon stands for
The musician, born in 1997, began writing his own lyrics when he was around 14 years old – long before he finally published them. From the beginning, rap was less a pose for Apsilon than an outlet: a means of bundling observations, anger and self-identification.
What sets him apart from many of his contemporaries is his consistent politicization without sloganeering. His songs revolve around class, structural racism, images of masculinity and the demands of late capitalist reality – often mercilessly, never cynically. Musically, Apsilon moves between trap and conscious rap, with the lyrics always being in the foreground. Apsilon doesn’t rap to please, but to make it clear that origins and attitude are not aesthetic accessories.

Since its first official release in 2021, Apsilon has built a remarkably dense body of work. The early singles were followed by the EPs “Gast” and “32 Zahn” (both 2022) as well as “Blei” (2023), before he presented his first studio album “Haut wie Pelz” in 2024.
