Two members are appointed at the Common Court of Justice. This is RPP (Remco) Hoekstra and LJ (Leendert) Saarloos. The Rijksministerraad has agreed to the nominations for appointment on the proposal of State Secretary Struycken (legal protection). The appointments will start on May 1, 2025.

Hoekstra is appointed with Bonaire location. He is currently judge in the Central Netherlands court. He was previously a judge in the Rotterdam District Court and the Utrecht District Court. He was also a counselor in the Amsterdam Court of Appeal and was already a member of the Common Court of Justice for two periods.

Saarloos is appointed with the Sint Maarten location. He is currently judge in the Gelderland District Court. Before that, he was bailiff and teacher of criminal and sanction law. Both are appointed as a judge in civil case law. Hoekstra will also be used as a judge in criminal cases.

The Common Court of Justice of Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten and Van Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba provides the judiciary on the islands. The judges at the Common Court of Justice deal with civil matters, criminal cases and administrative matters (including tax matters), both at first instance and on appeal. The Common Court is also involved in Special Judiciary Colleges (such as for civil servants) and in lectures in charge of disciplinary law. The Court consists of judges in local service and sent judges.
