drs. MHT (Marjolein) Jansen becomes Program Director-General for Spatial Planning at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The Council of Ministers has approved the nomination on the proposal of Minister Bruins Slot of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The appointment will take effect on September 1, 2022. Marjolein Jansen will be primarily responsible for the Environment Act and the associated Digital System.
Marjolein Jansen has been a member of the Board of Directors of Kadaster since October 2019. Before that, she was, among other things, Vice-President of the Executive Board of the VU University in Amsterdam and Deputy Secretary-General at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. Marjolein studied Public Administration at the University of Leiden and the Erasmus University Rotterdam and Environmental Sciences and also has broad experience within public administration and with digitization tasks.
This appointment was made on the basis of the procedure for the top management group of the General Administrative Service. The recruitment and selection for this appointment was done by Bureau ABD. As usual, the vacancy was widely advertised so that everyone could apply.
