At the proposal of Minister Rijkaart of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the Council of Ministers has approved the appointment of Mariëtte Hamer as chair of the Council for Public Administration (ROB).
Mariëtte Hamer is currently Government Commissioner for sexual misconduct and sexual violence. Previously, she was chairman of the Social-Economic Council and a Member of the House of Representatives. She was also chair of the Allowances and Out-of-Home Placements committee and an informant in the run-up to the Rutte IV cabinet. It will start on November 1, 2025, if the Royal Decree has also been followed.
