Mr EFA (Frederik) Zevenbergen will become mayor of the municipality of Vlaardingen. At the proposal of Minister Rijkaart of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the Council of Ministers has decided to nominate him for appointment. The appointment takes effect on January 26, 2026.

Mr Zevenbergen (54 years old) is a member of the VVD. He is currently a deputy in the province of South Holland. Bert Wijbenga-van Nieuwenhuizen (VVD) is currently mayor of Vlaardingen.
