RJ (Roelien) Kamminga becomes mayor of the municipality of Groningen. On the proposal of Minister Uitermark of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the Council of Ministers decided to nominate it for appointment. The appointment starts on June 30, 2025.
Mrs. Kamminga (47 years old) is currently a member of the Lower House of the States General on behalf of the VVD.
Mirjam van ‘t Veld is currently acting mayor of the municipality of Groningen.
