drs. EJ (Erik Jan) van Kempen becomes a consultant at ABDTOPConsult at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The Council of Ministers has approved the proposal of Minister Bruins Slot of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The appointment will take effect on October 10, 2022.
Erik Jan van Kempen has been program director-general of the Environment Act at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations since 2018, with the environmental law, spatial planning and housing as his portfolio. Before that he was director of the Housing Market and also deputy director-general at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. He previously held various positions at Aedes, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. Erik Jan van Kempen studied Political Science and General Economics at the University of Amsterdam.
This appointment was made through the procedure for the top management group of the General Administrative Service.
