iPhone 17
The iPhone 17 is going to resemble the current iPhone Pro models, AppleS CEO Tim Cook announces on Tuesday evening. The screen of the iPhone 17 grows a little: from 6.1 to 6.3 inches. Just like the skinge iPhone 16 Pro, the iPhone 17 also gets a so-called ‘Always-on display’. That means that the screen never becomes completely black when it is locked.
The iPhone 17 has a higher refresh speed (up to 120 Hertz) and an anti-reflecting coating. As a result, the screen will be more visible in bright sun. The device also has a new chip: the A19, which will make the device a little faster and more economical.
Selfie camera no longer tilt
Do you want to make a selfie with a large group? Then you no longer have to tilt the iPhone 17. The camera corner is much larger. And as soon as several people appear in front of the lens, the lens itself signals it on the basis of AI.
Then the image grows on its own. There is also image stabilization on the front camera. So even if you film yourself running, the camera remains stable.
In terms of megapixels, the camera is also improving: from 12 to 24 megapixels.

The iPhone 17 has a starting price of 970 euros, but can still rise considerably if you want more memory. The iPhone 17 line will be delivered from 19 September.

iPhone 17 Air
A new Pronkjuweel from Apple: the long -awaited thinnest iPhone also. The iPhone Air is only 5.6 millimeters thick (for comparison: the iPhone 16 is 7.8 millimeters thick) and therefore also the lightest.
The iPhone Air is one of the biggest devices ever. The screen is 6.5 inches, only the new iPhone 17 Pro Max is larger: 6.9 inches.

Just like the regular iPhone 17, the Air also has an always-on display and refresh rate up to 120 Hertz. Do you choose the iPhone based on the camera? Then you should not go for the air. This device has ‘only’ one lens. Since 2017 (iPhone 8), the Apple phones have always had an ultra-wide angle lens next to it. With the iPhone Air, Apple breaks that tradition.
Where Apple has been known for a long time for their preference for removing gates (think of the suddenly disappeared USB outputs on the MacBooks), they now also do so with the SIM card spot on the iPhone Air.
Only an e-SIM can be placed in this. According to Apple, there is therefore ‘more room for the battery’. The price for the iPhone Air starts from 1229 euros.

iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max
For the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max you also have to pull the wallet. The iPhone 17 Pro starts from 1329 euros and the Pro Max from 1479 euros. These devices also have that faster A19 chip and the camera gets an upgrade to 48 megapixels.
Substantially zooming in on a Pro or Pro Max should supply razor -sharp image and, just like with the regular iPhone 17, the camera grows automatically when several people come into the picture on a selfie.

AirPods Pro 3
In addition to the iPhone 17 line, Apple also announces new earbuds: the AirPods Pro 3. Compared to the previous edition, the Pro 2 from 2022, these earbuds offer stronger Active Noise Cancellation (noise reduction).
They would also fit better after Apple “investigated more than 10,000 ears.” The AirPods Pro 3 are smaller and are supplied in five different sizes, so that they are suitable for a larger group of users.
New is also the built-in heart rate sensor, which-just like the Apple Watch-is connected to the Health app on the iPhone. Compared to the predecessor, the AirPods Pro 3 are also better protected against dust and water.
The most striking addition is the function for live translation. When you wear the ears in an environment where another language is spoken, you immediately hear the translation in your ears. This function uses Apple Intelligence and takes the AirPods Pro 3 to a futuristic level.
The AirPods Pro 3 costs 249 euros.
iOS 26 Standard on iPhone 17
During Developer Conference WWDC in June, Apple announced that all iPhone 17 devices are supplied as standard with operating system iOS 26. This makes Apple a big leap: from the current iOS 18 directly to iOS 26, so that a logically numbered new version appears every year.
Those who purchase an iPhone 17 soon will therefore immediately receive a operating system with a big makeover. The appearance of iOS 26, the so -called interface, is named ‘Liquid Glass’. This new design language ensures that icons, buds and beams seem to float like liquid glass above the rest of the app.

In addition, Apple is introducing a series of new functions: you can set 3D background photos, there will be a built-in link with chatgpt, facetime conversations are translated live, voicemails summarize themselves, annoying pauser music during waiting disappear and unknown callers must first indicate why they call. That reason appears immediately in the picture.
