“Criminals, some of whom were masked, attacked the embassy with flammable objects, explosives and arrows,” said Bogota Mayor Carlos Fernando Galan. “Four police officers were injured in their faces, legs and arms.”
The Ministry of Defense shared images showing a chaotic situation outside the embassy. A police officer can be seen with an arrow in his arm.
The protest group, which calls itself ‘Congreso de los Pueblos’ (People’s Congress), organized the rally outside the embassy to protest Trump’s right-wing agenda.
