American actor Anthony Geary has died. Geary was 78 years old when he died.
The actor died on Sunday in Amsterdam, December 14, due to complications from the surgery performed on him three days earlier, according to the US media.
Geary is especially remembered for his role as Luke Spencer General Hospital – in the soap series.
Geary starred in the long-running series for decades. He started his role in 1978. The last time he was seen as an anti-hero on American television was in 2015. In between, Geary also played his character’s cousin.
The soap opera star returned to the series once again in 2017.
Geary was born on May 29, 1947 in Utah. He started his acting career in theaters and later in TV series such as Family is the worst, The Mod Squad and The Partridge Family.
He got his role in his long-term role General Hospital – series, but since then he has been seen in films, among other things Fish Tank (2009) and Alice and the Monster (2012).

In his last years, Geary settled in Amsterdam with his wife Claudio Gaman with. They celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary earlier this year. The common sky was behind us for longer.
