On November 21, 2025, the Beatles with “Anthology 4” bring out a new chapter of their legendary “Anthology” series. The work appears as a 2-CD set, 3-LP version on 180 G vinyl and digital.
Formats and content
Giles Martin has re -compiled “Anthology 4”. The collection contains 13 previously unpublished demos, session recordings and rare versions from 1963 to 1969. In addition, there is the band’s last single, “Now and then” that appeared in 2023. Producer Jeff Lynne also provides Neue Mixe of the “Anthology” hits “Free As a Bird” and “Real Love”, for which he reworked the singing traces of John Lennon.
The publication includes a total of 26 songs that have never been available on vinyl. The 3-LP version appears as a triple-fold set with polyethylene inner covers. The 2-CD set is in a Digisleeve Klappcover and contains a 48-page booklet.
Kevin Howlett contributed the song notes, while the introduction to 1996 interviews with Derek Taylor, a close friend and consultant by the Beatles.
Extended “Anthology Collection”
On November 21, the extended “Anthology Collection” will also be released as a 12-LP box and 8-CD box. George Martin put together the original series, Giles Martin newly remastered. The box contains three double albums with rare material and shows how many songs developed from early sketches into classics.
“Anthology 4” is also included in the box, with a total of 36 songs, including the 13 unpublished demos and session recordings.
