Anouk does not want to participate in best singers because she feels elevated to the level of the other artists who often say yes to such a kind of participation, says Johan Derksen. “She’s not doing it.”

It would be a huge catch for best singers: a commitment of none other than Anouk to participate in the program. Quite a few artists have participated in the TV show, but the Nobody’s Wife singer has never been spotted on the side of Jan Smit. And according to Johan Derksen that makes sense.

‘Very sin’

Jordi Versteegden, reporter of De Telegraaf, raises best singers in the studio of Today Inside. He points out that this year Paul de Leeuw is participating and quite a few artists who are known from the Friends of Amstel.

He says from the bar stool: “Best singers once was the program that gave young talent the chance to break through. That really succeeded there, but this year they open the whole friends of Amstel-Kliek. Paul de Leeuw, among others, Thomas Acda. I think it is a waste of that program, because we already know that they can sing.”

Great problem

Johan sees a completely different one issue. “Do you know what the biggest problem is? It doesn’t cover the load, because I have seen that mess and I have not been one, and there is not one, except that Miss van Krezip, who can really sing.”

He continues: “You can throw the rest away. We have really good singers in the Netherlands and then you can make a program best singers, but not with these types of amateurs. Come on!”

Mel

René van der Gijp points to the former participation of Melanie Jonk, better known as Mel. “That Mel really broke a bit in the best singers then? And here a bit then.”

Wilfred Genee: “With us also a bit.”

Johan: “If you’re talking about best singers: Anouk, Davina Michelle and Mel are absolutely the best and then there are those heating seeds there and they all sing just like your neighbor girl.”

Anouk in the show?

Has Anouk ever been polled? Jordi wonders. “I wonder if they have approached Anouk. I will undoubtedly think so.”

Johan: “Well, I think Anouk doesn’t want to sit with these people.”

René: “With Jan Smit. Hahahaha.”

Wilfred: “But it is quite a nice program, boys? Come on man. It’s a great program.”

‘I always look’

René also thinks it’s a great show. “It is also a nice program. I always look at it. Nothing wrong with it. It is a sweet program.”

Johan: “Yes, but René, I think the instance … A lady who can’t sing, sings a song from yours and then you have to cry.”

Finally, René: “It goes quite far that you will be crying about your own songs of course. That goes pretty far. I don’t see Mick Jagger doing that yet.”
