A great concern, both in Wallonia and in Flanders, is the teacher shortage. At the start of the legislature, this problem was still named top priority. Four working groups were founded in January, but the consultation between the government, trade unions and educational umbrella organizations seems to be stuck. Also in French -language education, last school year there was a lot of stopping against the increasing workload and the federal pension reform.
