Another success for swimmer Kira Toussaint at the European Championships; gold in 100 meter backstroke

Kira Toussaint has again taken gold at the European Short Course Championships in Otopeni, Romania. The swimmer from Assendelft set a time of 55.88 seconds in the 100 meter backstroke. The British Medi Harris came second in 56.81, ahead of the French Mary-Ambre Moluh (57.10).

A day earlier it was also a hit for Toussaint. She then won gold in the 50 meter backstroke. She has now won both the 50 meter and 100 meter backstroke at the last three European Short Course European Championships. She had less success in the 200 meters back, as she finished outside the podium.

The European Short Course Swimming Championships last until Sunday.
