The German football professional Jakob Johnson (27) has apparently found a new employer in the NFL. As several league insiders report, the fullback has agreed to a one-year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Stuttgart native was released on Sunday by the New England Patriots, for whom he had played since his NFL debut. Johnson was thus allowed to negotiate with other teams.
Johnson had played in 38 games for the Patriots since 2019, and in 2020 he caught his first touchdown in the NFL in a game against the Seattle Seahawks.
