Another 46 immigrants arrive in Gran Canaria in a cayuco, the fifth since Christmas Eve

As sources from the Red Cross and Maritime Rescue have informed EFE, this last boat with 46 migrants was located about 27 kilometers south of Gran Canaria by Salvamar Macondo, after a notice was received from the Civil Guard at 12:30 p.m. (Canary time) that a possible boat had been detected.

Different pathologies

Salvamar escorted the cayuco to the Gran Canaria port, where it arrived under its own power at 2:25 p.m. (Canary time) and, after disembarking its occupants, they were attended by Red Cross troops.

One of them has been referred to a health center after presenting different pathologiessources from the aforementioned humanitarian organization have indicated.
