Although many orange players in the sultry Lucerne signed a reasonable level, most attention went to Vivianne Miedema and Victoria Pelova. The latter, because of a goal and an assist, the first because she scored her hundredth goal in the Dutch national team with the 1-0. Miedema did that in her 126th international match.
You should know this about the Orange Lionesses who are active at the European Women’s Football Championship
Also striking was the return of Lineth Beerensteyn. The striker of VFL Wolfsburg, who struggled with an ankle injury for so long, was therefore recovered to gain much needed rhythm. All in all, Jonker could not do better general wishes for next Wednesday’s squatter in Zurich against England.

Andries Jonker sends the Orange to the field in the field
Coach Jonker allowed his team to take office in the ‘dezaiformation’. With the same dolls with which he defeated Finland in Leeuwarden (2-1) and also in the same game system: 4-2-3-1. Jackie Groenen and Wieke Kaptein were the inspectors in midfield, Daniëlle van de Donk de Shadow striker and Jill Roord and Victoria Pelova occupy the wings. In the tip of the attack: Vivianne Miedema, hunting her ‘Century’.
The first goal attempt came from Orange, playing in blue: Haley Ladd, playing on left, cut out and tested Wales goalie Olivia Clark with a hard shot. The former FC Twente keeper came in the game with the rord recurring at the Tukkers as the winner.

Jill Roord is out of luck with a long shot on the post
Wales played the national anthem for the game, as the Legion from ‘Cymru’ sang: passionate. Many duels were won by the British women. Also in the 35th minute when Rhiannon Roberts headed a long ball from Dominique Janssen. Roord, however, conquered the ‘second ball’ and fired from 25 meters for the second time and wonderfully from the rump on Clark. This time the goalkeeper received help from the post.
Bad luck. But the technically gifted player, busy with her third European Championship, showed that a bit Sturm und Drang was not a bad counselor. In the final phase, Wales also asserted himself with their fighting spirit and received a number of corners. They didn’t produce anything, but the noisy red wall behind the goal of Daphne van Domselaar thought it was beautiful.

Vivianne Miedema makes her hundredth orange goal just before half-time
Vivianne Miedema provided liberation for the Orange and puppeteer Jonker, who saw that his strings had become ugly in each other despite the initial tempo -free game of the lionesses. But then there is always Miedema to get it out of the knot. She hurled two roof movements and curled the ball with feeling in the far corner: 1-0.
Miedema’s wonderful opening goal was not just a goal: it meant her hundredth in the service of the Dutch national team and she wanted to know that too. The phenomenon from Hoogeveen started scoring on October 26, 2013. In her second international match, the 17-year-old prodigy in Maia made a pure hat trick against Portugal within nineteen minutes.
Thanks to Goal and Assist of Victoria Pelova, the Orange runs out to 3-0
Shortly after the break, the match was ‘killed’ by Victoria Pelova. Van de Donk was not put in the way from a long ball by Veerle Buurman and when the defenders of Wales also went in all directions except the good ones, Pelova had the corner for choosing. The hanging right winger shot flawlessly: 2-0.
Wales, the weak sister from group D, was then a willing prey for the bloodthirsty lionesses. Roord and Jackie Groenen still met the bar, but Esmee Brugts searched and found the short corner from a flawless pass from the unleashed Pelova: 3-0. The Beerensteyn, introduced for Miedema, was twice close to a goal, but the side network and offside were that, while Chasity Grant did not estimate a cross from the repaired striker. It did not detract from the neat victory in the stadium allmend.
